Students will be required to pass both a written test and a shooting qualification.

Instructor Background
My name is Shane Whitley, and I have over 16 years of law enforcement experience.
- Began in a Police Explorer program for 7½ years
- Served as a Deputy Sheriff in North Carolina for 6 years
- Currently serving as a Captain with a police department in South Carolina
I am passionate about law enforcement and believe strongly in the importance of personal protection in today’s world. This course is designed to give you the knowledge, confidence, and skills to carry responsibly.
